Gotta love a cropped oversized tee. Especially when its splashed with French vocab -- it makes you instantly chic. Another favorite color combo here: pretty soft pinks accented with bold graphic black. A definite escape from all that neon I've been drawn to lately.

These past few days have been spent way up north where wearing the same leggings/top/jacket/scarf combo is acceptable -- that is an exaggeration...for the most part. I took my new Swedish Hasbeens for H&M out for a spin last week and they gave me some major blisters -- ahh spring has officially sprung. Expect more pictures with these beauties soon!

inchworm green

Inchworm green has always been my favorite crayon color for some reason or another. Since I was a kid, I would take the best care keeping that particular crayon sharp and pointy. This green now has seemed to inch (pardon the pun) its way into my closet, quickly becoming a fast favorite spring color. It just goes so well with floral dresses and fragrant lilac blossoms. And apparently leopard as well.

the best day

My mom is simply the best -- this vintage picture of her and I is one of my favorites. I wanted to dedicate a special post for her along with a small thank you for everything she has done. I love her for all of the advice, encouragement and love she has given me over all of these years. And for much more.

*Ann Taylor skirt --> if you must have it (and you must trust me!!) go to a local store rather than buying it online, its a lot cheaper. Mine is in a petite so the hemline is a bit more youthful!

**Jeffery Campbell flats --> a fast  favorite -- insanely comfortable and a bunch of colors to choose from!

buy a half size bigger :) I might be buying another pair asap...

***BCBG bracelet -- reads "banana" and there are a bunch of different slang words available for your wrist. Too cute!
