feminine//masculine

Taking a feminine piece and throwing in a few masculine elements is nothing new, but it is a style I gravitate towards time and time again. I love surprises and details in an outfit -- especially when they seem ordinary at first glance. This dress's beautiful floral print and sheer high-low cut is ideal for a summer wedding, but assumes a whole new look when paired with a shrunken blazer and a men's vintage bull's head belt.

  7. I first discovered your blog this morning while I was - oops - supposed to be working. So I couldn't stop right then to tell you how I am absolutely head over heels in love with your dress. Instead I spent all day dreaming about it (and alternately searching the internet to track it down! No luck.) It is an incredible piece, and you look just lovely wearing it. You have a fabulous blog - I know I'll be back soon :)

  13. Do quite adore that dress...the hemline and contrasting-but-matched patterns are really fun together. Plus the masculine details keep it from being overly flirty...which is a juxtaposition I love!
