I'm so excited to be guest blogging today for my gal pal Khatu while she is traveling the world. (Uhm, talk about traveler's envy!).

Head over to her blog, I Am Khatu, to check out my favorite tip for packing stylishly and smart.

Since buying this dress, I have worn it so many different ways: with pops of red, dressed down with gladiator sandals, layered up with a preppy blazer or a more laid back denim jacket. Is there anything better than versatility (and Fridays)?

Have a great one, TGIF!

Cage sandals + white is officialy my summer 2014 uniform. Fresh, yet edgy. Done.

Now that summer is winding down, I've been hitting up the end of season sales like crazy -- both this Zara dress and these Loeffler Randall shoes were a major online shopping score! Shop similar looks to what I'm wearing below.

Hope everyone had a great weekend, Happy Monday!

summer's sunsets

The end of summer is one of my favorite and least favorite times of years -- the quick crispness in the air, promise of new and exciting fall fashions, that heavy feeling of change.

But mostly I love those bright pink sunsets that fall over Boston's skyline, turning the entire city crazy beautiful colors for a minute. I think that is what attracted me so much to this dress. A color pallet so summery yet bittersweet, I had to make a second look from it.

1 {Kate Spade dress; Swedish Hasbeens for H&M (old but love these); Michael Kors bag; Juicy Couture watch}
2 {Ann Taylor cardigan (old); Anthropologie top (old); JCrew shorts; Gap sandals (on sale!); Kate Spade bag; Juicy Couture watch}

snakeskin + things

The last few weeks have been crazy busy, and as a result, my outfits have been much less bold (as evidence in my last few posts).

I've been getting into wearing more neutrals -- creams, blacks, browns -- and mixing more subtle patterns together. Something about keeping it simple (you can't get more classic than Coach C's and an oversized watch) makes me have that nostalgic back-to-school-brandy-new feeling all over again.

{Cynthia Rowley top; JCrew skirt (old); Coach heels; Kate Spade bag (borrowed from mum); Juicy Couture watch; Max & Chloe necklace; Catbird rings}

shift season

One style I know I will still be wearing when I'm 90? The shift dress -- my favorite shape, ideal length, a bajillion possibilities...

I like that many options in a dress.

{jacket via Marshalls (old, love this one); Kate Spade dress; Via Spiga sandals (old); Michael Kors bag; JCrew bracelets; Catbird rings (here + here)}

feeling 90s

This dress totally reminds me of the 90s cool kids -- but without the jellies and butterfly clips. Updating it to the 21st century with super straight hair and simple black and white -- I swear I'll cry when summer is gone and I have to put these sandals in storage.

TGIF!
