forest jean

Here is some colored denim from my personal wardrobe in the shade of this amazing forest green. It is totally wearable yet still something unexpected -- perfect for fall. Especially paired with the print of the season. And velvet loafers (lovvvve).

bright denim

A few days ago, a good friend asked me for some advice on how to wear bright denim. Bright bottoms can sometimes seem off-putting, but here are a few ways that I would wear this trend --
Colored Denim 1
Colored Denim 3Colored Denim 2
Polished in Red
-- Just a few ideas but easily translatable through any personal style. Bright denim can be a surprisingly easy addition to any wardrobe. Check out how I wore it in my next post!!

Hope this helped xo

vintage lady

I've been dressing a little more structured as of late and a little more ladylike -- trading summer garb for more buttoned up pieces, jackets and sparkle. Its funny how quickly personal style can change, but for this moment I am digging a tailored uniform reminiscent of those stylish ladies of way back when.

These pants are a perfect example of why I love Forever 21. The ideal pajama-like vibe, yet dressy in deep-jeweled colors printed on a gorgeous silky fabric -- frankly, I was surprised they were only 20 bucks. These babies are definitely a great piece to transition into fall, yet can easily be worn throughout the other three seasons as well. Yes, I am a fan.

feeling free

This past week has been so incredibly hectic that I've barely had time to think, let alone blog. I didn't want to leave you all hanging, so here is a little sneak peek at something I wore the other day. The only hint? Pants. And they are pretty awesome...

pink frosting

A lot of my pieces are pretty girly, so I typically tone them down with more classic pieces. But today I decided to embrace my girly side to it's fullest in a head to toe pink ensemble, complete with tiny deer (in oversized bows) and those to-die-for sparkly sandals -- this outfit is just as sweet as a cupcake.

All my thoughts are with the families and victims of 9/11 -- 10 years have passed and we will never forget xo

A few of my favorite pieces at the moment -- including these gorgeous glitter sandals. Aren't they amazing? I pretty much stare at them on my own feet wherever I go. I think I own this top in about 12 different colors and patterns with definite plans to grab some more in the near future. Same goes for this skirt...I have no shame in owning multiples.

I am 100% stuck in summer mode. Still. It's going to be hard leaving my favorite time of year and succumbing to the impending cool down. A few nostalgic snapshots on Monterey Bay -- which is apparently full of seals and sea lions -- one of my favorite parts of this mini-hike besides the view.
