Today's colorful outfit with a splash of floral, stripes and piles of mismatched gems is exactly what this drab January background needs. I can't wait until the grass is as green as these cropped jeans, and I love that my hunt for the ideal nude shoe is over.

With the promise of pastels for spring, light on light colors are front and center, especially with those small pops of color like fuchsia, yellow and sea-foam. It is such an effortless look with different textures and shades of white that work seamlessly. Sadly you can't tell but I am wearing the brightest pink lip-color that I love -- I definitely need to work on perfecting my beauty photography.

Spring needs to hurry up. I'm pretty much jumping at the chance to wear this season's brightest colors sans coat/sweater/boots/tights etc. Not to mention mixing as many patterns as acceptably possible.

I love this color combination. Sometimes it's fun to step away from the prints and play with bright hues -- and red is seriously the most versatile color I own right now. Haven't you notice?
