at long last

I feel like so many pieces in my closet have some kind of story behind them -- which I think makes each item a little more special. The story behind this DVF turban goes a little like this:

Girl goes to store in early November. Girl spies a display of yummy leopard turbans in bright pinks and neon greens then naturally tries one on. Girl is smitten. But regretfully puts the pretty hairpiece down after seeing its price. Girl goes back to the store several times more but with no luck. And then one day it is gone. Several months later, girl revisits store once again and openly jokes about not seeing the turban while wandering to the hair accessory section. Turban (now on sale) practically jumps out at girl and into her arms. And the rest is history.
