summer dress makeover

Sometimes I can't help myself and dip into the warm-weathered part of my closet a few weeks (or months) too early. But it definitely extends the shelf life -- or wearing life -- of these pieces, and offers a whole new look. Through easy layers and contrasting color, it looks as if I got a brand new striped skirt, score!

{Zara blazer (old), top and shoes; JCrew dress (similar); UO sunnies; bracelets-- JCrew, Catbird}

  3. I do the same thing. I get impatient waiting for the warmer temperatures and I end up wearing lots of layers in order to keep warm.

  7. Shirts/sweaters over dresses are my favorite way to dress in between seasons. Also it usually comfy and conducive to laziness, so that's good too.
