For the most part, I have always kept away from the "matchy-matchy" look -- it's just not my personal style. However, I've been warming up to that approach, and am really loving the look of matching patterns, especially skirts/pants + shoes. It achieves such a fresh look without trying too hard, and is best if the top is kept simple and classic. 
(PS sorry for the J. Crew overload, they are killing it with their patterns right now).

    I always love being "matchy" - lipstick to nailpolish to handbag is ideal in my little world :) I love the idea of dotted flats with dotted jeans. Adorable! And those Madewell flats are amazing :)

    I like being matchy not at all times but at least once in a while.I love all of your picks making me realize I don't have anything in a anchor print.

    I've been drooling over polka dot denim for months now...it would fit so perfectly into my wardrobe! Love this style board because you could easily wear these mix and match patterns together...which looks so cool when it's all in teh same colours!
