swan dive

The last time I boarded a swan boat in Boston was probably around the time I still wore pigtails, pink bows and puffy dresses in one consecutive outfit. Nowadays, I usually watch them from afar and act much too cool to be seen on one. A few days ago, I broke my spell and my BFF and I jokingly suggested taking a ride. And then paid the $2.75 to explore the gardens from a bird’s eye view. It was definitely tourism at its best, and I proudly want to go back! We enjoyed a parade of friendly ducklings, weeping willows and a slew of too cool Boston onlookers. Thank god flowers are still blooming because this chill in this air has got me scrambling for warmer clothes (hence the tights and layered sweaters) and waving a white flag for winter to skip this part of the world.
