Who doesn't love a day at the beach?

The warm sun, crashing waves and people watching galore offers hours of beach bumming and summertime bliss. I find them the most enjoyable with plenty of summer snacks, great friends and buckets of sunscreen. Shockingly, this has been my first trip all summer – and it is already mid July! I need to make some more pilgrimages as soon as possible before the season ends; how sad would that be if this was my one and only? This coastline excursion to Jones Beach (and my first time) was a family affair and the weather was beautiful despite the 97-degree temp. The water brought in a perfect ocean breeze and spray that kept us cool, while yummy ice cream venues and hot dog stands were sprinkled around the boardwalk.

When I think beach days I think white dresses, and I love this one. It has a girly bohemian air and is so summery when paired with turquoise accessories and a floppy hat; summertime never felt so good! I bought this dress on sale years ago, and it was definitely a smart purchase – a warm weather staple indeed. I think I’ve got the beach bug – I can’t wait for my next trip!
