cat

Animal prints are a great wardrobe must, but mixing patterns with them can be tricky. I habitually shudder at the mere thought of blending different animal species together and am horrified when there are more than two thrown in. Actually, more often than not I stray from this trend all together, but I couldn’t resist when I put this outfit together.

Going against everything I normally believe in, I threw on leopard from head to skirt. What emerged was something quite edgy and classy and kind of fun to look at. I spotted this spotty number whilst perusing the racks of H&M at my local mall and instantly knew I was going to purchase it. It has an expensive look to it, with luxurious pleating, great structure, and is incredibly well made – thank you $24.99 price tag, you’re mine skirt! The top was a mere 12 bucks; this cat had eyes that were too sweet to pass up. I love the cropped, slouchy shape, and it greatly compliments the form of the skirt. I think they make a great pair – hey they are in the same genus. Of course I can’t oppose a pop of something bright, so I opted for on these ah-ma-zing Marc Jacobs pumps to satisfy my need. Meow!!

  11. I think everything goes very well together, great job. I tend to shy away from lots of prints, but maybe I should be more daring.
